Champion Web
Acceptable use policy
Version 1.0. In effect from 16 September 2026.
- What this policy covers
- This policy sets out how you may use the services you buy from Champion Web Pte Ltd: domain names, DNS, email plans, the control panel, and webmail. It’s part of our Terms of Service. If you use the services, you agree to it.
- It applies to you and to anyone you give access to, such as the people you add to your account or to a mailbox. What they do on your account counts as your use.
- We wrote it in plain words on purpose. If something here isn’t clear, email abuse@championweb.com and we’ll tell you where the line is.
- The short version
- Send mail only to people who expect to hear from you. Don’t use our services to deceive, harm, or harass anyone. Keep your account secure and your details accurate. If a problem turns up on your account, fix it when we ask. The rest of this page is the detail.
- Email
- Your mailboxes are for the everyday mail of your business: messages you and your team write to the people you deal with, and the ordinary notices your own systems send them, such as invoices or booking confirmations.
- You may not use a mailbox to send:
- unsolicited bulk email of any kind, whatever it’s called;
- newsletters, marketing campaigns, or mailing-list mail, even to people who have opted in. Our mailboxes aren’t built for it and the limits below will stop it. Use a service made for bulk mail instead;
- mail to addresses you bought or rented, or collected without their owners knowing;
- mail that hides or fakes who it’s from, or pretends to be someone else;
- phishing, scams, malware, or links to any of them;
- mail sent by software at a rate no person could match, other than the ordinary notices in 3.1.
- Sending limits. Each mailbox can send about 100 messages an hour, and each domain about 500 an hour. Mail over the limit waits in a queue and goes out as the limit frees up. If your business needs more, email postmaster@championweb.com before you reach the limit.
- Bounces and complaints. We track how much of the mail sent through us bounces or gets reported as spam, and where it came from. If a mailbox or domain is pushing those rates high enough to put other customers’ delivery at risk, we pause sending from it and email you what we saw. Sending resumes once you’ve fixed the cause and replied to us.
- Every message must carry a real sender address on a domain you control, and you must read what comes back to it, including complaints.
- Keep mailboxes secure. Use a strong, unique password for each one. If we see signs that a mailbox has been taken over, such as a sudden burst of mail to strangers, we lock it and email the account holder. You get it back by resetting the mailbox password and telling us it’s done.
- Domain names and DNS
- Register only domain names you’re entitled to, and keep the registrant contact details accurate. Registries require it, and a domain name with false details can be suspended by the registry, not only by us. You may be asked to confirm your details from time to time. Answer within the time given, or the domain name can stop working until you do.
- Domain names ending in .au have eligibility rules set by auDA, such as holding an ABN or another Australian presence. You confirm you meet them when you register, and you must tell us if you stop meeting them.
- Don’t register or use a domain name to impersonate someone, to trade on another business’s name or trademark, to mislead people about who’s behind a website or an email, or to spread malware. If a registry, a registrar, a court, or the law requires us to suspend or cancel a domain name, we will, and we’ll tell you as soon as we’re allowed to.
- Don’t point DNS records at anything this policy prohibits. What resolves under your domain name is your responsibility, including services you connect through our control panel.
- Everything else
- Whatever the service, you may not use it to:
- break the law, or help someone else break it;
- harass or threaten anyone, or spread lies about them;
- publish or send sexual content involving children, or anything else that is illegal;
- infringe copyright, trademarks, or other people’s rights;
- probe or attack our systems or anyone else’s, or try to get access you haven’t been given.
- Whatever the service, you may not use it to:
- How we enforce this
- We act on reports sent to abuse@championweb.com and on complaints passed to us by mail providers and registries. Our own systems also show us bounce and complaint rates and blocklist listings.
- For most problems we start by emailing you what we found and what needs to change. If it isn’t fixed, or if it’s serious enough to harm others straight away, such as phishing, malware, or a compromised mailbox, we suspend the mailbox, domain name, or account involved first and tell you afterwards.
- Repeated or deliberate breaches end the affected service. Where the law or a registry requires it, we report what happened to them.
- Every notice we send tells you what we did and how to get the service back. Reply to that notice, or email abuse@championweb.com, and a person will read it.
- Reporting abuse
- If you’ve received unwanted or harmful mail from a domain we host, or a domain name we manage is being misused, email abuse@championweb.com. Include the full message with its headers if you can. They tell us which mailbox sent it.
- For problems delivering mail to a domain we host, such as a bounce you don’t understand, email postmaster@championweb.com.
- Changes to this policy
- We may update this policy as the services, or the rules we work under, change. The version and date at the top tell you which one you’re reading. When a change affects what you’re allowed to do, we’ll email the address on your account before it takes effect.
